If you should take away his fortune,

let me put him to the test

And soon poor Job had lost his health
E logo o pobre Jó perdeu sua saúde
and wealth and all the rest
e sua riqueza e tudo o mais,
And as his troubles added up
E conforme seus problemas aumentavam
he fell down on his knees
ele caiu de joelhos
He said “Lord, I’ve still got one thing,
e disse: “Senhor, eu ainda tenho uma coisa:
and that’s your love for me”
